6-Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

After pick-up at your hotel, you’ll depart for the Maasai Mara in the morning. En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, then proceed to Narok town for lunch. On arrival at the camp, check in and rest, then visit a local Maasai village where you will interact with Maasai people and understand their culture. Dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Mara camp.

Day 2: First Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara

Spend the day exploring the wonders of the Maasai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. With its rolling savannahs and rich wildlife, the reserve offers excellent chances of spotting the “Big Five” – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo – along with giraffes, zebras, and countless antelope species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the world-famous wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. Dinner and overnight stay at Enchoro Mara camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast in Maasai Mara, you will have optional interaction with the Maasai people then later check out and drive to Nakuru. Lunch will be served enroute. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Afternoon spend relaxing at your hotel in Nakuru with optional activities such as swimming. You will have full board accommodation at Buraha zenoni hotel & Resort.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast and game drive at lake Nakuru then leave Nakuru and drive to Amboseli. You’ll will have lunch enroute then proceed to Amboseli. The park which gives the best view of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and your overnight stay at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Osotua safari camp.

Day 5: Amboseli Full day

This is dedicated to exploring Amboseli, famous for its striking scenery and thriving elephant population. Take morning and afternoon game drives across the open plains, swamps, and woodlands, with excellent opportunities to photograph wildlife against the stunning Kilimanjaro backdrop. Look out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and an abundance of bird species. In the evening, unwind at your lodge or camp, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the park.

Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli as you begin your return journey to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable 6-day safari through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli.
