Day 1: Fort Jesus & Old Town Discovery
You’ll be picked up from your hotel, the airport, or the SGR terminus and transferred to your beachfront hotel in Nyali or Bamburi for check-in . After settling in, head to Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Explore the fort and learn about its fascinating history as a former slave holding ground . Step outside into the Old Town, a maze of narrow streets and alleys lined with ancient Swahili architecture, carved wooden doors, and shaded balconies . For lunch, savor authentic Swahili cuisine—try biryani or samaki wa kupaka (grilled fish in coconut sauce) . In the evening, board a traditional dhow for a sunset dinner cruise, sailing the calm waters while enjoying fresh seafood as the sky turns gold . Dinner and overnight stay at your beachfront hotel.
Day 2: Marine Park, Haller Park & Sunset Camels
Wake up early because today belongs to the sea. Head out to Mombasa Marine National Park, home to vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish. Take a glass-bottom boat tour or go snorkeling to see dolphins, turtles, and the underwater world . Back on land, visit Haller Park, a nature reserve transformed from a limestone quarry. Day 3: Bombolulu Workshops & Departure
