Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After pick-up at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park. Stop en route for stunning views of the Maasai steppe. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive through this spectacular park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You’ll explore the park until sunset, with chances to see lions, zebras, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp near Tarangire.
Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim in time for lunch with breathtaking views of the caldera below. In the afternoon, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera—for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers one of Africa’s highest wildlife densities, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and endangered black rhinos. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge on the crater rim.
Day 3: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
Enjoy an early morning optional visit to a Maasai village to experience their traditional culture. After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Embark on an afternoon game drive through this compact but diverse park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, hippos, and seasonal flamingo flocks. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near Lake Manyara.
Day 4: Lake Manyara to Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Manyara. Later, check out and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport—marking the end of your memorable 4-day Tanzania safari
